East Chelborough is a small cluster of houses. To the south-west of the hamlet are the ruins of a motte and bailey known as
'The Castle'. From the top of Castle Hill, there are fine views of
Dorset, Devon, Somerset and Wiltshire.
PARISH CHURCH
The parish church is about a mile away from the hamlet and its earliest portions date from the
13th century.
The east window is modern, a great traceried circle filled with angels.
