Norton Ferris a hamlet which was a hundred at the compilation of
William the Conqueror's Domesday, is hamlet in south-west Wiltshire on the B3092 between
the A303 and Maiden Bradley.
On the corner of the main road through the hamlet (B3092) and Coombe Barn Lane to the
west stands an unusual Granary in that it raised from the ground on brick arches rather
than the usual stones. The Granary stands adjacent to Coombe Barn Lane, in the yard of
Granary Farm House.
